I am a little odd amongst the fandom circles I run in right now, in that I am looking forward to, but am not overwhelmingly exciting by any stretch of the imagination by DA: Inquisition. It may be partly because I have no idea when I will actually get to play it, and there is no reason to get worked up over a questionmark of a timeline, and it also may be because I haven't actually sat down to play a game in… quite some time. I haven't even played more of my new Warden, Iain, since I started, and I am looking forward to his playthrough.

Now. All that said. I was saying as much of this to felspar last night, and now I suddenly find myself with ideas for two different Inquisitors.

I think I feel kind of the same way like you? I want to play it but I will not have that much time and I've kind of accepted the fact and now am just...well..not indifferent but I'm actually at the "I'll manage" point? :D

Of course! You're not being too demanding at all. But… I don't have a whole lot yet.

The first will be Locke Lamora-inspired, human lady fencer. Probably romancing Cullen. I’m thinking rogue, with a specialization in assassin—maybe artificer; I want to see how both work first before I decide one way or the other. I’m tossing some names around in my head right now as possibilities, but not settled yet. Long dark hair, kept tied up out of her face and belying the length—or possibly cropped short. Maybe she cuts it partway through. Complete heterochromia iridum—probably green and blue, and not genetic, but I haven’t decided on which eye is which or why she has heterochromia. She’s rakish and easygoing, and her family has thought her either daft or a tad touched all her life. Also an excellent horseman.

The other one I’m thinking of actually was spawned from thinking of the Trevelyan background and comes solely from the line that came to me of, “The youngest of my siblings, yes, but that does not make me young.” Older mage lady, not sure what specialization—maybe Rift Mage? Really, that line is about the only thing I have about her so far. That and she’ll romance Blackwall

Many characters develop just in game, so I think those concepts are really really great <3

Locke Lamora sounds like a great person to be around. Is she very passionate?

Older lady mage just makes me want to send you a lot of hearts because the concept is really, really ,really amazing^^
I'm excited to hear/see more of them <3

Well, her name isn't Locke Lamora--he's a character from a book series--but I imagine she is passionate about things, just not things her family would like her to be passionate about. I keep waffling about the length of her hair, though.

I kind of really like the idea of my older lady mage, as I can't think of many older OCs that people make in general. So thank you! I'm glad you like the idea of her as well :D

I am not sure when I will get the game at all, so I don't know when I'll be able to flesh them out more--well, I'll give them names at least first, I think--but when I do I will probably talk about them :>

Haha, naming is a wonderful thing, it just makes a character so much more tangible <3 Please keep me informed about them ,I would love to hear more <3

I mentioned this in another comment, though it's more appropriate to say here, but the fencing/rogue Inquisitor that first came to my mind has a first name now--Lywc, which is Cornish and pronounced like "Luke". I like it because it's a gender neutral name, though it sounds like a boy's name, which is what I was hoping for her.

I STILL am undecided upon the length of her hair, argh. I might have to see what the CC has for hairstyles whenever I get the game, and even then I might eventually want to change it /laughs We'll see what her personality lends best to.

That is beautiful name <333 I think a lot things like developing personality happen just in game or when you let that character act a bit - but that is also what I really like about it <3

I'm sorry for replying so slowly by the way (and possibly repeating myself), the project-article-writing partner has done some reeaaally impractical things and as until now I was busy fixing his mistakes^^°

No worries on the time frame for replying! I work in retail so my days are ridiculously busy and I often forget what day of the week it is for several moments /laughs

Finding out who a character is through gameplay/writing is one of my favourite things, so I am greatly anticipating meeting the more fleshed out forms of characters I have ideas for once I get to playing. :>

Okay then I am a bit relieved. Usually just a lot of things are coming up and I want to do everything and that's not so good ;) (also who needs to know the day of the week? The most important information is what's for dinner^^)

It will be amazing! Chantal is showing some interesting characterstics I would not have associated with her. It is great!
